Day 6 – Amazon immerse low key
Paddle canoe quiet, no motor, arms burn but birds explode color, hoatzin stink, wings clumsy. Hike a loop trail, boots sink, spot monkeys woolly, howler roar shakes leaves. Buses everywhere, two to ten bucks legs, eat markets, set menus under five. Community lodges ten to twenty night, book on spot or app free. Shared boats five to fifteen, ask at docks. Pack water bottle, refill, snacks nuts, fruit. Rain jacket, bug dope natural, headlamp, Spanish phrases. June to November drier trails, December to May wetter cheaper. Seven days tight, stretch if buses late, but the equator whispers slow, you listen, save cash and planet both.
