You may have noticed on the blog or through my social media channels, but in case you missed it — I’ve started a mailing list! The Fly On Over email newsletter will go out twice a month (bi-weekly) on Friday. You won’t get spammed and I’ll never give out your personal information (pinky promise!).
In case you hadn’t noticed, I love meeting bloggers. Just about every vacation or trip I go on, I manage to meet up with at least one blogger. Last year I actually missed out on meeting a few people because I didn’t realize I was visiting where they lived and they had no idea I’d be there! So I’m throwing out my planned trips in case anyone lives in the area and wants to meet up. ‘
I say this all the time, but one of the best things about being an equestrian blogger is the amazing community. I’ve made a lot of friends from all around the country (and the world!) through blogging, and I’ve had the distinct pleasure of meeting a few in person too. Every time I meet a new blogger, it’s like we’ve been friends forever — the conversation never lags, time flies by and I find myself thinking oh my gosh, how is time to go already?!
The Equestrian Blogger Gift Exchange is one of my favorite holiday traditions — it’s been a huge hit ever since I first started organizing the event, and since then, it’s only grown. Bloggers participate from all around the world and I always meet new people. I’m not sure what my favorite part is: matching everyone up, shopping for gifts or receiving a special package in the mail!
First off, thank you to each and every blogger who participated in the 4th Annual Equestrian Blogger Gift Exchange. Each year I’ve hosted, it’s grown and this year was no exception with 61 participants!! Also, this is a chance to linkup your gift exchange post, and make sure you don’t miss anyone’s unveiling. Happy holidays to all, and from my family to yours, we wish you a wonderful New Year.
