In the past, I’ve done a quarterly review of my goals, but with all the (many) ups and downs of this year, I didn’t. Sometimes it was too painful to see just how far away I was from where I wanted to be, other times riding fell pretty far by the wayside as life got in the way. Nevertheless, I really like to do goal reviews to remind myself of what I have accomplished, and where I still want to go.
I used to do some year-end blog posts every year, until last year… when things really sucked and I just didn’t have it in me. But this year I’m reviving the tradition, starting with monthly highlights from 2016. I didn’t really blog that much this year, so I’m doing blocks of three months at a time. You’re welcome!
I’m so glad that we brought Kona into our family, and things are going pretty well I think… except for one thing. Well, maybe more than one, but she gets pretty bad travel anxiety and has some motion sickness. This makes life just a little bit difficult, and honestly I’m having trouble coming up with a good solution. So blogland, HALP!
First off, thank you to each and every blogger who participated in the 4th Annual Equestrian Blogger Gift Exchange. Each year I’ve hosted, it’s grown and this year was no exception with 61 participants!! Also, this is a chance to linkup your gift exchange post, and make sure you don’t miss anyone’s unveiling. Happy holidays to all, and from my family to yours, we wish you a wonderful New Year.
