Stall rest gives me too much time to think. So instead of dwelling on all the negative worries I’m accumulating, I want to talk about all the progress Miles and I have made. Earlier this month, Miles and I went to the New Vocations Charity Horse Show. It’s the second time we’ve attended together, and marks our one year anniversary of moving up to 2’6″.
The weeks are just flying by for me. I can’t believe it’s almost August, or that it’s been almost a week since my last blog post! Sorry ya’ll… not that you’ve really been missing much anyways. However, I have been fortunate enough to grab a few rides while Miles is laid up, thanks to the generosity of my fellow boarders. Recently, I’ve bummed a few rides on Coal, a black OTTB in his mid-teens.
Remember a really long time ago I hinted at some big life events that were taking up all of my free time? Well I announced the new house about a month ago, but something else happened right around the same time that I’ve been keeping under wraps. Don’t worry, it’s not super exciting (well, for the rest of the world, I imagine) so you haven’t been missing out. So what’s up? I got a new job!
